September 18 - 19th - Montandon Baptist Church will be celebrating our 140th Anniversary. The festivities will begin at 1 p.m. on Sat. Sept. 18th with a children's program in the sanctuary. At 4 p.m. Joe Murray and "Sister Act" will share gospel music. From 5-7 p.m. there will be a FREE dinner served in the social room. NOTE: The social room is NOT handicapped assessible at this time.

On Sunday, Rev. Dr. Frank Frischkorn, ABCOPAD exec. minister will be our key speaker during the 10:30 a.m. Worship service. Rev. Mark Mahserjian-Smith, area minister and Pastor Emeritus Robert Berger, historian will also be in attendance and sharing during our historical service.

Everyone is invited to ALL of these momentous events. Please call the church if you will be staying for the dinner Sat. evening. Thank you...

CHURCH LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (CLI) of Williamsport is again resuming classes, starting in September. The classes are held Saturdays at Calvary Baptist Church, Williamsport. The first semeester classes are Old Testament Survey and Biblical Interpretation.

Contact Ron Wagner for information. These classes can be taken for enrichment studies or for complete Leadership track for certification of Layleadership.

Greeting Cards for Sale

        The adult Sunday school class has an assortment of greeting cards for sale. Please see Bea Swagner for more information or call her at 524-7224. This class uses the funds for church project donations and to help others when needed.
